This silver cuff bracelet has been marked down to $199.99 from $249.99. This bracelet could increase in price if the cost of silver rises tomorrow. The price of silver has dropped $7.27 an ounce in the past two days.
The reason for this post is to explain the pricing structure on the silver jewelry listed on SilverStones. Many of the higher priced items will drop in price over the next few days providing the price of silver does not increase. Some of this silver jewelry is set at a certain price and will not change when the price of silver increases or decreases from this supplier. Lower priced items from this supplier will not have much of a price reduction, as we did not raise the price on those items over the past two months. Closeout items are not reduced in price but are in low quantity and may not be available much longer. This sterling silver rose cuff bracelet is in closeout.
Another supplier we use will only change their price when the price of silver goes up or down $4.00. We have not been notified of a price change from this supplier but we do expect them to reduce their price providing the price of silver continues to drop. The other two suppliers we use just raised their prices. They may or may not reduce their prices and it could be awhile before they do. Any item that has a very small amount of silver will not have much of a price change.
You can expect to see a reduction in price in our necklace, bracelet, and pendant sections as well as some items in the turquoise section. It will take a few days before we can obtain the new price and update it on our website. In the meantime, check our Silver Jewelry Sale for discounts on our .925 sterling silver jewelry and gemstone jewelry.
What is real silver jewelry? Real silver jewelry is 925 sterling silver. The 925 means 92.5% of the material used to make the jewelry is fine sterling silver, other alloys make up the 7.5%, usually copper, is added to make the silver hard. In the USA, an alloy must be 92.5% silver to be classified as silver. Real silver jewelry is stamped inside with the number 925 unless it is a handmade piece and the artist did not have a stamp to mark it.
Sterling silver jewelry is sometimes rhodium plated. Rhodium plating keeps the silver from tarnishing. This type of plating is good for necklaces, bracelets and earrings but not for rings unless it is the exact size you need. Rings that have a rhodium plating cannot be sized without ruining the rhodium finish.

There is not much to choose from these days as far as silver jewelry for men, like this mens sterling silver cuff bracelet. A majority of cuff bracelets are for women. Some men could wear a few of these bracelets providing they don’t have a large wrist and the piece is not feminine.
There is a massive selection in stainless steel bracelets and I am seeing more earrings for women made with stainless steel. It seems to be the trend but stainless steel isn’t worth much. It has approximately a 10th of the value of sterling silver. Sure some manufacturers put a designer brand on it and jack the price up but it is still cheap jewelry.
We don’t carry any stainless steel jewelry but I would like to get your opinion on stainless steel jewelry. I have read blogs on how great it is and that’s what men like. I think the person who wrote the blog sells it and that’s why they like it.
I would like to see more sterling silver bracelets available for men. What do you think?
Wear stone jewelry to enhance your life. Silver is a conductor metal that enhances mental functions, aids in circulation and relieves stress. Wearing silver increases your emotional well-being, patience and psychic abilities.
All gemstones have metaphysical properties associated with them. Silver is an excellent choice for stone jewelry as silver intensifies these metaphysical properties especially around the new and full moon.
It was a taboo thing to do, but I went along with my friends anyway. To mark the fifth anniversary of our friendship, we all got ourselves a silver cuff bracelet with charms containing initials of our names. With seven of us in the group, we all had the colors of the rainbow in our hands.
To make mine a bit more unique I chose a black band for the bracelet instead of a metal chain. That way it would show off the colors of the charms. I also chose a band that was made from a stretchy material, because I didn’t really like droop or cling uncomfortably from my arms. I want my bracelet to stay in one place when I wear it.
